Campbell Valley

Campbell Valley is located in South Langley and borders the United States. It is comprised mainly of acreage and agricultural land. It is home to the upscale equestrian community, Highpoint Estates. Three wineries and a cidery are located in this area. Shopping and amenities are a short drive away. One of Langley's largest parks, Campbell Valley Park offers walking trails for people, dogs and horses alike.

County Line/Glen Valley

County Line/Glen Valley is located in North Langley bordering Abbotsford, the Fraser River and Fort Langley.  It is comprised of acreage farm and equestrian properties. The Fraser River provides for great kayaking, sturgeon catch-and-release fishing tours and tidal fishing. County Line/ Glen Valley has one elementary school.

Fort Langley

Your Neighbours: Affluent outdoor enthusiasts, small families.

Fort Langley is home of the Fort Langley Historical site. Found in North Langley, it borders the Fraser River, Glen Valley and Walnut Grove.  Fort Langley has one elementary school and the Langley Fine Arts School (grades to 1-12). Fort Langley has a great High Street with lots of artisan shops and restaurants. There are plenty of trails and parks as well. The community is typically very active and artistic with its rowing, running and cycling clubs and galleries. The Fort Langley community hall holds multiple public and private events each year. 


Murrayville

Your neighbours: Empty-nester, retirees and young, established families

Murrayville is another niche community located in Langley's highest part of town just east of Langley City and west of Otter and Salmon River. Murrayville has great walkability with schools ( two traditional and one public elementary), transit, W.C. Blair Pool and recreational centre, shopping and the Langley Memorial Hospital, all within walking distance. It is a short drive to parks and trails and home to the Langley Airport, a private plane and flight school airport.


Otter District

Otter is home to mainly large acreage properties with nursery, produce or hobby farms. Many equestrians also call this area home. School buses take students of all ages to schools in Aldergrove and Salmon River. This area is home to Otter Co-Op, a long-standing, family run business and other industrial businesses. Otter park is found to the south and is great for horse and walking trails and picnics. Most land in the Otter District is designated as being in the Agricultural Land Reserve.

Salmon River

Salmon River is home to acreages of all sizes. It is found just south of Fort Langley and Glen Valley. It has two elementary schools and one secondary school which school buses run to and from for all age groups. JD Turkey Farms and two golf courses are located here (Tall Timbers and Poppy Estates). Williams Park is also found in this northern part of area for horse and walking trails and picnics. The Salmon River watershed runs throughout the the area and is home to thirteen different species of fish. New development has recently come to the north eastern part of Salmon River with some large estate homes. 


Walnut Grove

Your Neighbours: Young and established families, affluent professionals

Price: $$$$


Walnut Grove is a commuter town thanks to its proximity to Hwy1. Walnut Grove is a great area for families with school aged children. The homes have good lot sizes and good layouts. There are seven elementary schools in Walnut Grove, one secondary school and one private school. The secondary school is attached to the recreational centre and public indoor pool. Walnut Grove hosts plenty of community events including Walnut Grove Family Day. The schools in this area are some of the best consistently rated schools. Walking trails and green spaces wind around the entire area giving a very park-like feel. Walnut Grove has great walkability to all amenities, shops and transit. Cineplex Colossus cinema and Sportsplex ice arena are also found here along with some great restaurants and pubs.
